Manager - Accountant

An established, friendly and successful chartered accountancy firm close to Buckingham, Milton Keynes and Towcester are seeking to hire a Managerial position, but they are happy to recruit from Senior Accountant level upwards.Working closely with the Director / Partners, this firm would prefer someone mostly office-based, due to the level of interaction with staff and clients, in a key position, offering free parking, flexibility on hours and a good career opportunity, with very competitive pay and terms.The salary on offer will entirely depend on the person chosen and their relevant skills and experience. Key responsibilities include:Workflow allocationSupervise and co-ordinate traineesReview accounts and tax returns jobsMeeting new clients and managing existing client relationshipsTrainee reviews of work and career progressPreparation of accounts and tax returns for Limited Companies and Sole TradersPreparation of Personal Tax Returns and Partnership Tax ReturnAssistance with audit, although this can be excluded from the job as preferred QualificationsACA or ACCA qualified ideally, but those AAT or qualified by their experience will be consideredManagerial experience, or review / supervisory and ready to step into a Managerial ..... full job details .....
