Management Accountant

Working closely with the Financial Controller and project delivery teams, you ll play a key role in managing the company s core finances and ensuring smooth financial delivery across the business. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to grow in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your ideas and initiative are valued.Main responsibilitiesSupport the Financial Controller with day-to-day management accounts and reportingMaintain accurate financial records across purchase, sales, and nominal ledgersPrepare monthly management packs, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliationsManage VAT returns, payroll, pensions, and related submissionsMonitor cash flow, assist with forecasts, and provide commercial insightsSupport Project Managers with financial tracking and reportingDrive improvements in financial systems, processes, and automationAssist with compliance reviews and internal financial controlsSkills and KnowledgeExperienced in finance or management accounts with strong bookkeeping knowledgeSkilled in Sage, payroll, and pensionsAdvanced Excel skills (spreadsheets, lookups, formulas, etc.)Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines in a busy environmentExcellent communication and relationship skillsAAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMASalary and benefits£40,000 £45,000 DOE31 days holiday (including public holidays)Your ..... full job details .....
