Management Accountant with development to FC

Your new company Your new company is a leader in their field based in Stoke-on-Trent and is looking for a Management Accountant who is looking to develop into a Financial Controller position over the next 2 years.Your new role Your new role will include but not be limited to:Management Accountant (Progression to Financial Controller - 2 Year Pathway)Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentarySupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementAssist with group reporting, statutory accounts, and external auditsEnsure tax and regulatory complianceSupport payroll and pension submissionsMaintain financial records Monitor foreign currency transactions and investment reportingAssist with oversight of international subsidiary Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and reportingProgression Responsibilities (Over 2 Years):Take ownership of full financial control, including internal controls and risk managementLead and develop the finance teamOwn budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategyManage cash flow and treasuryProvide commercial insight and decision support to the MDLead group reporting and statutory complianceAdditional Development Areas:Company secretarial duties: statutory records, Companies House filings, board support, governanceHR support: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and workforce planningIT oversight: liaise with providers, support systems optimisation and data protectionOperational ..... full job details .....
