Management Accountant

My client is a market leading specialist engineering business and they are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant-to drive strong financial control, deliver high-quality management information-and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and ad-hoc financial reports
• Support the business in providing accurate and timely management information
• Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to all key stakeholders; and respond to changes in the business
• Proactively work with the business to compile and manage cashflow, and identify and manage risk
• Revenue Recognition IFRS15

• Present and operate at all levels both internally and externally
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting standards
• To speak finance to non-finance managers
• To champion finance processes and compliance to accounting practices, challenging behaviours and embedding best practice throughout the wider business
• Monitor and ensure the validity of the information available
