Interim Management Accountant 3-4 Month Interim Contract £325-£400 per day Clapham - Hybrid Working Retail and E-Commerce We''re supporting a fast-growing retail and e-commerce business that is looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant on an initial 3-4 month contract. This is a slightly different Management Accountant role. There is BAU accounting to pick up across stock, month end and the balance sheet, but the real focus is on improving how things are done. The biggest priority will be stock. There is currently a highly manual matching and reconciliation process taking up significant time each week. They want someone who can understand why the process works as it does today, identify the gaps and then help design and implement something considerably more efficient. The Role Reporting into the Finance Manager, you''ll take ownership of several core accounting areas while also being given the freedom to challenge and improve existing processes. You''ll need to be comfortable with the detail, particularly around stock, purchase orders, landed costs and reconciliations, but equally capable of stepping back, understanding the end-to-end process and coming up with practical improvements.
