Management AccountantMarkerstudy Insurance Group is looking for an Accountant to join our Group Finance team.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys month-end, reconciliations, reporting and process improvement within a large, complex finance environment. You''ll play a key role in supporting financial month-end and reporting processes across the Markerstudy group of companies, helping ensure accuracy, strong controls and timely delivery.The roleYou''ll support the Financial Controller and wider Controllership team with the preparation of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting, audit support and continuous improvement activity.You''ll be joining a collaborative finance team where accuracy, ownership and strong internal relationships are key. The role will suit someone who is methodical, confident working with data, and comfortable balancing deadlines in a changing environment.What you''ll be doingYou''ll be responsible for:Supporting monthly close activities, including preparation and posting of journalsCreating, recording and approving journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completenessCompleting and reviewing balance sheet reconciliationsSupporting detailed balance sheet reviews across allocated areasAssisting with internal and external audit requirements, including backing schedules and statutory reporting supportPartnering with FPandA to provide clear analysis that supports decision-makingSupporting wider Controllership activity and ad hoc finance ..... full job details .....
