Management Accountant

Role Summary:We are working with a local Accountancy Practice in their search for a Management Accountant to join the team on a 12-month Fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT-qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ CIMA professional looking to broaden their experience across multiple industries and work in a dynamic client-based role.Key Details Location: EastleighWorking Pattern: Hybrid Salary: up to £40000Contract: 12 Month FTCStart Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of SME clients.Complete bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, accruals, prepayments, and month-end processes.Prepare and submit VAT returns, CIS returns, payroll information, and other statutory compliance requirements.Maintain accurate accounting records on Sage and Xero while supporting clients with bookkeeping queries and process improvements.Provide general business support, cash flow reporting, KPI analysis, budgeting assistance, and finance-related guidance to business owners. Requirements AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.3+ years experience in Management AccountingPrevious experience within an accountancy practice or outsourced finance and bookkeepingWorking knowledge of Sage and Xero accounting software.Strong understanding of reconciliations, VAT, payroll, and month-end accounting procedures.Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a ..... full job details .....
