Management Accountant Location: Bury (Hybrid - 1-2 days WFH) Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 Hours: 9:00am - 5:15pm (flexible)An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing, private equity-backed professional services business in Bury.This role is ideal for someone ambitious and looking to progress their finance career within a growing organisation. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure and have a clear pathway to a Finance Manager roleResponsibilities include:Producing monthly management accountsBalance sheet reconciliationsPayroll journalsSupporting month-end and year-end processesPreparing VAT returnsCash flow forecastingCashbook reconciliationsManaging payments and invoicesProviding financial commentary and analysisAbout YouEssential:ACCA or CIMA qualified (part-qualified or AAT Level 4 also considered)Experience producing management accountsStrong understanding of balance sheets and reconciliationsAbility to provide financial analysis and commentaryStrong Excel and systems skills (ERP systems such as Sage Intacct beneficial)Desirable:Experience in industry (practice background also considered)Experience using ERP accounting systemsBenefits25 days holiday + bank holidays2 additional days leave after 2 years'' serviceBirthday leave2 paid charity daysPension schemeSalary sacrifice benefits including cycle to workFuture long-term incentive plans ..... full job details .....
