Management Accountant

The RoleAn established and friendly chartered accountancy practice in the heart of Stourbridge is looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a varied client base and the opportunity to play a key part in the day-to-day running of accounts within a supportive practice environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly and quarterly management accountsBudgeting, forecasting and variance analysisPreparation of statutory accounts for SMEsLiaising directly with clients and providing ongoing financial supportSupporting year-end accounts and audit processesAssisting with process improvements and ad-hoc finance projectsCandidate RequirementsCIMA or AAT qualified (or equivalent)Minimum 5 years'' experience in a management accounting roleESSENTIAL: Previous experience working within an accountancy practiceStrong technical accounting knowledgeConfident communicator, comfortable dealing with clientsWell-organised with strong attention to detailThe Practice and BenefitsFriendly, close-knit team environmentSmall / medium-sized practice with a personal approachFree on-site parkingPension schemeFlexible salary depending on experience (£30,000 - £40,000, with scope above for the right individual)Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm (flexibility available)Working Pattern: Fully office basedThis role would suit a practice-experienced Management Accountant looking for stability, flexibility, and a genuinely supportive ..... full job details .....
