Management Accountant

Our well established, multi site client are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified (or nearly qualified) accountant who enjoys combining accurate financial reporting with commercial insight in a fast-paced environment.Working as part of a collaborative finance function, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial results while providing analysis and support to operational stakeholders across the business.Key responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management accounts, including operating expenditure and margin reportingEnsuring costs are correctly recognised through accruals, prepayments and journal postingsProducing variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key trends and risksSupporting the reporting of regional and branch-level financial performanceCompleting monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepanciesPartnering with operational stakeholders to ensure clarity and accuracy in financial resultsSupporting and developing junior members of the finance team where required About You: CIMA or ACCA qualification (or be in the final stages of study)Experience in management accounts and month-end reportingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial dataAdvanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systemsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to ..... full job details .....
