Trial Balance are delighted to have been exclusively re-assigned by a successful and ambitious client in Truro, who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to provide maternity cover for a 12-month period, commencing by December. Working alongside the Head of Finance (also placed by Trial Balance), you''ll take responsibility for a broad range of financial activity and provide analysis and insight to support the decision-making process. As Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include: - Producing quarterly management accounts and financial reporting for senior stakeholders - Completing VAT returns and overseeing relevant tax and compliance responsibilities - Overseeing project accounting, ensuring expenditure remains aligned with approved budgets - Analysing financial results and monitoring performance against budgets and forecasts - Managing short-term cash flow and supporting wider financial planning - Supporting the annual audit process and assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts - Maintaining effective financial controls and helping to identify improvements to systems and processes - Providing support across the wider finance function and contributing to longer-term financial planning The successful Management ..... full job details .....
