Assistant Management Accountant Permanent Based in Mitcham/Croydon (office based until probation is passed, then 3 days in the office)£36,000 - £45,000 per annum Tony Alan Recruitment currently has a new and exciting job opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join an established and growing SME wholesale business on a permanent contract.This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone studying towards qualification, who enjoys working in a fast-paced wholesale environment and wants to continue developing their management accounting skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accountsPost journals, accruals, and prepaymentsDaily reconcile bank, control, and balance sheet accountsProcess purchase invoices and reconcile supplier statementsImport sales invoices and reconcile against card paymentsPrepare quarterly VAT returnsSupport stock, margin, and cost reportingAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial recordsProvide general support to the finance team as requiredLiaise with suppliers and process invoice paymentsVarious ad hoc project work Key Skills: Previous experience in management accounts Confident using Excel and accounting software (experience with Xero is a plus)Able to work to deadlines in a busy office environmentAvailable at short noticeIf you feel that you would be suitable for this position, then please apply with your CV.REFER A FRIEND SCHEME: If you refer a candidate to us and ..... full job details .....
