Management Accountant

Think Accountancy and Finance are recruiting a Management Accountant to join a growing UK finance team based in Watford. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the UK Finance Director, this is a broad, hands-on accounting role with responsibility across core management accounting, balance sheet ownership and operational finance.This role could suit two distinct candidates - someone Qualified who enjoys clear structure, ownership and consistency, and is happy being a dependable pair of hands in a busy finance function. Alternatively, it would also suit a part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) who is a few exams from qualifying and wants strong all-round experience rather than a fast-track progression role. Key responsibilitiesYou''ll have responsibility for a wide range of accounting activities, including:Ownership of revenue recognitionPreparation and review of PandLs and monthly revenue reportingBalance sheet reconciliationsMaintenance of the fixed asset register and capex reportingIntercompany accounting and UK intercompany reportingCorporate overhead accounting and forecastingSupporting FPandA activity with operational teamsPreparation of information for statutory accounts and support during external auditAd hoc finance tasks as required in a growing businessThis is a varied role covering both management and financial accounting, with regular interaction across finance and the wider business.
