Management Accountant (Contract – 2–3 Months)

Location: Clydebank
Rate: Competitive (DOE)
Duration: 2–3 Month Contract (with potential to extend)

We’re working with a well-established engineering business that requires an experienced Management Accountant to support the finance function during a busy period of change and improvement.

This is a hands-on contract role where you’ll work closely with the Finance Director to bring the management accounts up to date and implement more robust reporting processes.

You’ll play a key role in stabilising and improving the finance function, including:

• Bringing management accounts up to date and ensuring accuracy
• Producing and improving reports using Sage 200
• Supporting the Finance Director with financial analysis and insights
• Working closely with the Accounts Senior to improve processes
• Sharing best practice and helping to enhance overall finance procedures
• Providing guidance and informal training on Sage 200 where required

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant within a fast-paced environment
• Strong experience with Sage 200 (highly desirable)
• Confident in producing and reviewing management accounts
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support and guide others
• Experience within engineering or manufacturing would be advantageous
