Responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and payment processing.
- Provide insightful analysis to support decision-making across the business.
- Supervise, coach, and support a small team of finance staff.
- Maintain and document robust internal controls and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Coordinate and support internal audit activities, ensuring timely provision of information and implementation of recommendations.
- Work with the team to design and implement system enhancements or automation initiatives to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.

Experience & skills required from the successful Management Accountant:
- Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or finalist.
- Proven management accounting experience, ideally within a fast-paced business.
- Some experience supervising or mentoring team members.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. IQ by intact preferred) and advanced Excel.
