Responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and payment processing.
• Provide insightful analysis to support decision-making across the business.
• Supervise, coach, and support a small team of finance staff.
• Maintain and document robust internal controls and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Coordinate and support internal audit activities, ensuring timely provision of information and implementation of recommendations.
• Work with the team to design and implement system enhancements or automation initiatives to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.

Experience & skills required from the successful Management Accountant:

• Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or finalist.
• Proven management accounting experience, ideally within a fast-paced business.
• Some experience supervising or mentoring team members.
• Strong analytical skills.

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. IQ by intact preferred) and advanced Excel.
