Office based role in South Birmingham, 2pm finish every Friday. The RoleA key role within a small, friendly and capable team, the role reports in to a line manager with an excellent track record for training and mentoring talented team members. Responsibilities will include: Month end reporting process, balance sheet controls Preparation and processing of GL ledger journals Variance and performance analysis Monitoring of KPIs Review and update standard costs, incl. material COGS and BOMs Support stock control process Some (not much) invoice processing The Person Management Accounting experience - accruals and prepayments, etc Manufacturing sector expertise - highly desirable Excel skills - intermediate (vlookups, sumifs, pivots, etc.) As important as practical experience are the personal qualities sought - curiosity, diligence, keenness to learn, and a positive and proactive...
