Management Accountant (Maternity Cover)?Rotherham£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)Full-Time Fixed-Term ContractA well-established organisation based in Rotherham is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to step into a varied role within a supportive and collaborative environment.The RoleReporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the business with accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to aid decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and variance analysis.Producing budgets and forecasts, including cash flow forecasting.Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of the general ledger.Supporting month-end and year-end processes.Monitoring and analysing financial performance against budget.Assisting with audit preparation and liaising with external auditors.Preparing and submitting VAT returns.Identifying and implementing process improvements.Providing financial insight and support to non-finance stakeholders.About YouQualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)Proven experience in a management accounting roleStrong analytical skills with attention to detailConfident communicator, able to present financial information clearlyProficient in accounting systems and Microsoft ..... full job details .....
