      <description>Location: Birmingham | Salary: 55000.00-55000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | SF Partners are recruiting for a qualified Management Accountant to join a growing finance team in a broad role combining management reporting, FPandA, business partnering and process improvement.This would suit an ACA, ACCA or CIMA-qualified accountant who enjoys getting beyond the numbers, understanding business performance and helping improve the quality and efficiency of financial reporting.The role will include:• Preparing and coordinating monthly management accounts and supporting schedules• Producing variance analysis and commentary against budget, forecast and prior year• Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles• Analysing revenue, costs, margins, headcount and key performance drivers• Identifying financial risks, opportunities and underlying causes of variances• Working with budget holders and operational stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy• Producing management information, financial models and ad hoc analysis• Coordinating reporting activity across the FPandA team, without direct line management responsibility• Supporting improvements to month-end close, reporting processes and financial controls• Helping drive greater automation and standardisation across finan...</description>
