Management Accountant - 6 Month FTC

£45,000 | 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract | Hybrid Working - 2-3 Days in the Office

I''m currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established business on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands-on role supporting the wider finance team, with responsibility for delivering accurate and timely management information and providing meaningful financial insight to the business.

Key responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Month-end reporting and ensuring deadlines are met
Accruals, prepayments and journal postings
Balance sheet reconciliations
Budgeting and forecasting support
Variance analysis against budget and forecast
Producing financial analysis and commentary
Supporting cash flow and financial reporting
Working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders
Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and projects
The ideal candidate:

You''ll be an experienced Management Accountant who is comfortable taking ownership of the month-end process and working within a fast-paced finance environment.

You''ll ideally be part-qualified, qualified by experience or actively studying ACCA/CIMA, with strong Excel skills and previous experience producing management accounts.

You''ll be a confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

The package:

Salary: £45,000
Contract: 6 Month FTC
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office
Start: ASAP
