Management Accountant

SF Partners are delighted to be recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established business based in Cannock.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional to join a supportive finance team, taking ownership of management accounts and providing key financial insight to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals, prepayments, and journal postings
- Variance analysis and commentary on financial performance
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Cash flow reporting and monitoring
- Assisting with year-end audit requirements
- Producing financial reports and KPIs for senior management
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
- Business partnering with operational and non-finance stakeholders

About You

We''re keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience within a Management Accountant role or similar
- Strong month-end accounting experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience
