Management Accountant

Management Accountant Peterborough Full Time, Permanent Office Based SF Recruitment are working with an established PE Backed business in Peterborough to recruit a Management Accountant into their finance team. This is a great opportunity for a strong Management Accountant, either fully qualified or approaching qualification, who enjoys taking ownership of month-end reporting, getting into the detail behind the numbers and providing meaningful financial insight. Working across multiple UK entities, you''ll play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the wider business with commercial analysis and decision-making. The Role - Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple UK entities, including detailed variance analysis and commentary. - Taking ownership of the month-end process, ensuring accurate reconciliations and strong financial controls. - Managing intercompany reconciliations across the group. - Reviewing overheads, investigating variances and identifying areas for improvement. - Preparing bank reconciliations across group and client accounts. - Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns. - Supporting the Financial Controller with year-end reporting and external audits. - Reviewing AP and AR activity, providing support to the wider finance team where required. - Analysing product margins and providing insight into financial performance. - Supporting improvements to financial ..... full job details .....
