This would suit an ACA, ACCA or CIMA-qualified accountant who enjoys getting beyond the numbers, understanding business performance and helping improve the quality and efficiency of financial reporting. The role will include: • Preparing and coordinating monthly management accounts and supporting schedules • Producing variance analysis and commentary against budget, forecast and prior year • Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles • Analysing revenue, costs, margins, headcount and key performance drivers • Identifying financial risks, opportunities and underlying causes of variances • Working with budget holders and operational stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy • Producing management information, financial models and ad hoc analysis • Coordinating reporting activity across the FP&A team, without direct line management responsibility • Supporting improvements to month-end close, reporting processes and financial controls • Helping drive greater automation and standa...
