Management Accountant

Robert Walters - Management Accountant - Permanent - Hybrid (3 days on-site) - Solihull - £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Solihull, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, support business decision-making through insightful reporting, and develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment. Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant: Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial information. Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful commentary on variances against budget and forecast. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes across the business. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities. Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge where appropriate. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to support business objectives. Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management. Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
