Management Accountant

Robert Half is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing Finance function within a business in Glasgow. This is a broad role offering exposure to both the financial and operational sides of the organisation. The successful candidate will take ownership of a range of month-end, reporting and financial control activities, while working closely with colleagues across the wider business to understand performance, manage costs and support informed decision-making. The role would suit an ambitious accountant who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and is keen to develop their commercial understanding. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the monthly reporting process for a number of areas of the business, ensuring management information is delivered accurately and on schedule. Complete regular balance sheet reviews and reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies and ensuring supporting records are maintained. Assist with the organisation''s indirect and direct tax requirements, including VAT submissions and supporting wider corporation tax activity. Monitor balances between group entities and ensure intercompany transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
