Management Accountant - Remote

This role would suit a part-qualified accountant who has designs on working their way up to financial controller and beyond. The position of management accountant will report directly into the Finance Director of a small but rapidly growing software business. Offering the chance to work with someone we have known for many years and who also has a history of developing and promoting members of the finance team. You will be offered a fully remote contract and will be involved in the below set of tasks from the start. ResponsibilitiesTimely preparation for the month management accountsPreparing required accrual and prepayment journalsManaging the companies fixed assetsCash flow management and forecastingAssisting with quarterly and annual forecasting and budgetingBalance sheet reconciliationsPayroll reconciliation and journal postingVAT returnsAd-hoc reporting as required by SLT Person specificationActive studier, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CPASignificant experience in a month end reporting role to date, be that financial or management accountsAmbitious and eager for career opportunities and personal developmentExcellent communicator and able to liaise with senior stakeholdersStrong Excel skillsA desire to embrace AI and improve process and ..... full job details .....
