Management Accountant Stoke 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday Circa £40k PAThe roleWe''re looking for a proactive Management Accountant to join a friendly finance team and support a key part of the business. This is a great opportunity to get close to the day-to-day operations, work with a variety of teams and really see the impact of your work.You''ll be involved in everything from management reporting and forecasting to costing and process improvements. It''s a hands-on role where you''ll be trusted to take ownership, ask questions and help improve how things are done.What you''ll be doingPreparing monthly management accounts with clear, easy-to-understand commentaryAnalysing costs and overheads, including headcount and overtimeKeeping weekly profit forecasts up to date and producing regular sales, stock and performance reportsSupporting month-end close, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliationsLooking after stock and product costing, making sure figures are accurate and up to dateManaging customer rebates and ensuring liabilities are correctly recordedHelping monitor working capital and maintain strong stock controlsWorking with the wider business to improve finance processes and get more value from the ERP systemSupporting budgets, forecasts, statutory reporting and ad-hoc analysisWhat we''re looking forCIMA part-qualified (or equivalent)Experience in a product-led or operational environment would be helpfulA solid understanding of management accounting and ..... full job details .....
