Management Accountant

Reed Finance is working with a highly reputable and well established business based in Middlesbrough in their search for a talented and driven Management Accountant to join the management team and take ownership of the finance function within a fast-paced environment.This is a key role where your analytical skills, commercial awareness and ability to communicate effectively will have a direct impact on business performance and future strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take full responsibility for all core financial activities within the business, including:Financial Management and ReportingProducing accurate weekly and monthly management packs, including KPI analysis and commentary for senior leadership.Preparing and monitoring quarterly and annual PandL budgets, cashflow forecasts, and other key financial metrics with support from the financial accounting team.Costing, Controls and PerformanceImplementing and maintaining standard costing records, analysing variances and recommending action where required.Working closely with operational teams to ensure accuracy of accounting and stock recordsStrengthen internal controlsIdentify inefficiencies and drive improvementCommercial InsightProviding insightful financial analysis to support commercial and strategic decision-making.Contributing to forward-looking financial planning and supporting the development of long-term business strategies.Professional BackgroundA qualified ..... full job details .....
