Day-to-day of the role: Standard Month End Tasks: Prepare accruals and prepayments. Journal preparation for accurate reporting. Reconcile loan debtors. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations. Analyse and review the PandL with the Finance Director. Reconcile payroll and HMRC liabilities. Generate monthly KPI reports. Processing Tasks: Verify and authorise bank payments. Process stock adjustments based on physical stock takes. Statutory Reporting Tasks: Prepare VAT returns for review and submission. Participate fully in the annual Interim and Year End Audit.
