You will provide financial advice and management accounting support across a range of council services, working closely with budget holders, service managers and senior stakeholders. The role will include budgeting, forecasting, budget monitoring, financial analysis, grant claims, statutory returns and year-end accounts. The successful candidate will have experience within local government, the NHS or another complex public-sector organisation . The role is approximately 80% remote once established. However, you will be expected to attend the office for most of the first two weeks to complete your induction, meet the team and learn the Council’s systems and processes.
