Management Accountant

About the Role My Client is looking for a talented Management Accountant to join a growing finance team within a fast-paced, international business. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts while supporting financial reporting across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role where you''ll play a key part in month-end reporting, financial analysis and process improvement. Working closely with senior finance leaders, you''ll help improve reporting standards, strengthen financial controls and provide valuable commercial insight to support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Management Accounts and Month-End Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements. Produce supporting commentary and variance analysis. Manage the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations. Process foreign currency transactions and revaluations across multiple entities. Produce ad hoc financial reports for senior management. Maintain and improve month-end reporting processes and reporting packs. Financial Control and Compliance Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Prepare VAT returns and support statutory reporting requirements.
