Management Accountant (Public Sector) Salary: £47,181 - £50,269 Job Type: Permanent Location: NewtownardsClosing date: Monday 2nd NovemberOur client seeks to appoint a Management Accountant to oversee the College''s Finance Business Partner and have oversight of the College''s Accounts Receivable and Student Finance sections. This role is crucial for leading the production of monthly management accounts and providing financial advice and support across the College.Day-to-day of the role:Lead the production of monthly management accountsProvide advice on the management and control of internal budgetsDevelop cost allocation methodologies to support profitability analysis and achieve planned marginsMaintain and develop finance reports, including writing new standard and ad hoc reports as requiredAssist in cash flow forecasting and the preparation of statutory financial accountsPrepare annual budgets for the College and individual departments, and provide analysis to assist with financial planningSupport budget holders and management in financial planning and forecasting for individual cost centresAttend and support budget meetings, providing financial information and reports for ongoing financial planningDevelop policies and procedures for college budgets and forecasts, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulationsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Must be a fully qualified accountant and a full, current member of a recognized professional body such as Chartered ..... full job details .....
