Management Accountant

Location: South West London, hybrid (3 days per week in office) Contract: Temporary, 3 months Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £26.90 per hour (+ holiday) (£52,599.15 salaried equivalent) Start Date: July Prospectus is pleased to be partnering with a London-based healthcare charity in the search for an interim Management Accountant. This role will focus on delivering accurate and timely management accounts, leading the quarterly reforecasting process, and supporting the organisation through a live external audit. The postholder will also play a key role in maintaining continuity within the finance function during a period of transition. Please note, a basic DBS check will be required. Responsibilities: Operational Finance Oversee day-to-day finance operations Support and guide the team through a mid-year audit period Audit and Reporting Produce timely and accurate management accounts Support the external audit process through to completion Forecasting and Analysis Lead the quarterly reforecasting process Provide meaningful financial insight to support decision-making Strategic Support Partner with the Director of Finance during a period of team change Contribute to shaping the future structure of the finance function Compliance and Governance Maintain statutory registers Ensure compliance with charity sector regulations and internal controls Requirements: Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit ..... full job details .....
