This is far more than a traditional management accounting position. Alongside ownership of core financial reporting activities, you''ll play a key role in analysing project performance, supporting operational decision-making and providing meaningful financial insight to stakeholders across the business.

The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts and supporting commentary
• Analysis of project and business performance, profitability and margins
• Preparation of accruals, prepayments and month-end journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controls
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes
• Monitoring project costs, performance and financial outcomes
• Providing commercial analysis and decision support to operational stakeholders
• Supporting year-end audit requirements
• Driving process improvements and finance best-practice initiatives
• Delivering meaningful insight to support strategic business decisions

About You We are keen to speak with finance professionals who are:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or an outstanding qualified-by-experience finance professional with relevant project and commercial accounting experience
• Experienced within Management Accounting, Project Accounting or Commercial Finance
• Commercially minded and naturally curious
• Comfortable working closely with operational and non-finance stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinkers with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive, ambitious and keen to develop their career within a growing and progressive organisation
