They are looking for a confident and forward thinking team-player to join their finance team and manage a portfolio of storage sites. Responsibilities of the role: Take ownership of the month-end close process for an allocated portfolio of UK self-storage sites. Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for multiple entities/sites. Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, deferred income and other relevant adjustments. Ensure all income and expenditure is correctly recognised in the appropriate accounting period. Prepare detailed PandL analysis and provide clear commentary on actual performance against budget, forecast and prior periods. Support with year-end accounting and reporting for the allocated portfolio of entities. Prepare year-end journals, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
