The CompanyManagement Accountant - Part time - 22.5 hoursWe are delighted to be partnering with a growing and well-established group of businesses operating within the construction and technical services sector to recruit a Management Accountant.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment supporting two complementary businesses, offering great exposure to operational and commercial finance.You''ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening controls, and providing insight to support decision-making across the group.The RoleReporting into the Finance Director, this position will take ownership of the day-to-day financial management across both entities, ensuring high-quality reporting and meaningful financial insight.Key responsibilities include:Financial Reporting and Control Preparation of monthly management accounts, including PandL and balance sheet reconciliationsMaintaining and enhancing financial controls and processesEnsuring effective integration and data flow between financial systemsProject Accounting Monitoring project costs against budgetsWorking closely with operational teams to ensure accurate recording of purchases and subcontractor costsReviewing work in progress (WIP) and managing month-end accrualsEnsuring accurate cost allocation across projectsCompliance and Tax Managing and reviewing VAT returns, including sector-specific requirementsOverseeing PAYE liabilities and liaising with HMRC where requiredEnsuring ..... full job details .....
