The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing, business operating within a highly technical and service-focused environment.Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and commercial support to stakeholders across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to accelerate their career within a supportive and progressive finance function.The RoleKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly and quarterly management accounts in line with reporting requirements.Deliver variance analysis against budget and forecast, providing meaningful commercial insights.Produce contract and profitability analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management activities.Prepare statutory accounts and support regulatory reporting requirements.Manage VAT returns and other compliance obligations.Develop reporting improvements and support finance process automation initiatives.Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors, auditors and financial partners.The PersonPart-qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.Strong management accounting, reporting and analytical skills.Effective communicator with the ability to partner with stakeholders across the business.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Proactive, inquisitive ..... full job details .....
