Management Accountant

The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established business in a key finance role.Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the month-end process and play a central role in ensuring robust financial control across the organisation. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a high-volume environment while driving continuous improvement and supporting operational teamsThe RoleKey ResponsibilitiesOwn the month-end close processPrepare management accounts with supporting analysisMaintain full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations and controlsManage the fixed asset registerSupport and coordinate the external audit processHandle complex reconciliations, including online sales and VAT-related itemsAct as a key finance contact for queries and problem-solvingPartner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insightIdentify and implement process improvements and efficienciesSupport wider finance team activities and continuous improvement initiativesThe PersonQualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or finalistStrong experience in management accounting and month-end processesExperience working in high-volume, transactional environments (multi-site, retail or distribution advantageous)Advanced Excel and strong systems/ERP experienceConfident communicator with the ability to engage across the businessProactive, detail-oriented and ..... full job details .....
