We''re working on behalf of an established and growing organisation within the manufacturing sector that is looking to appoint a Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide sickness cover while supporting an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a turnover of approximately £6 million, where you''ll act as the senior finance person on site, partnering closely with the Managing Director and operational teams to help drive financial performance and support future growth. The Opportunity This is far more than a traditional month-end accounting role. You''ll become a trusted business partner, helping operational managers understand their numbers, improve profitability and make informed commercial decisions. With the support of a larger central finance team, who will manage the transactional accounting processes, you''ll have the opportunity to focus on adding real value to the business. You''ll also play a key role in improving systems and processes, with plans already in place to implement a new finance system and automate many of the current manual processes.
