Management Accountant Location: Somerset Salary: Up to 55,000 Working Pattern: 5 days per week in the officeAre you looking for a broad Management Accountant role with real exposure to senior stakeholders, projects and commercial decision-making?We''re working with a well-established organisation looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.The role: This is a varied position combining core management accounting with business partnering, financial analysis and involvement in systems and process improvements.Key responsibilities:Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts with insightful commentaryOwnership of month-end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliationsBudgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across departmentsBusiness partnering with budget holders to support financial performance and decision-makingMonitoring key income streams and expenditure, including forecasting scenariosSupporting statutory accounts and audit processesMaintaining the general ledger and overseeing fixed assetsAssisting with VAT returns and complianceFinancial modelling and analysis to support projects and strategic decisionsDriving process improvements and supporting systems implementation What we''re looking for:ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)Strong experience producing management accounts and financial reportingConfident communicator, able to partner with non-finance stakeholdersExperience ..... full job details .....
