Management Accountant

Morgan McKinley is partnering exclusively with a fast growing business based in North Somerset, to recruit a Management Accountant.My client is an ambitious, acquisitive SME in the Manufacturing sector, and they are currently undergoing a merger and an exciting period of growth and development.The RoleReporting to the Group Financial Controller this role will focus on ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, strong financial governance and controls, and the development of robust financial processes to support business growth.You will be responsible for helping to deliver timely, accurate insights, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic decision-making across the Group.Specific responsibilities will include: Own the group consolidation and month-end close process across multiple entitiesStatutory reportingResponsibility for stock reporting and analysisMaintain a robust cash management processOwnership of the fixed asset register and balance sheet reconciliationsDrive continuous improvement across systems and processesHelp support the transition of AP and Credit Control into group functions, ensuring standardisation of processesThe PersonTo be considered for this role you will need to be a collaborative and positive Qualified Accountant ideally with experience of working in Manufacturing / Engineering / Construction.Experience and exposure to stock and inventory are both highly desirable, and experience of working in a high growth, multi-entity / multi-site ..... full job details .....
