Management Accountant

Morgan McKinley, Northern Home Counties is proud to be supporting a well-established and highly regarded global business in Milton Keynes with the appointment of a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. They are seeking a proactive and hands-on Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Management Accountant who can take ownership of the month-end process, provide meaningful financial analysis and work closely with stakeholders across the business. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Take ownership of producing accurate and timely month-end management accounts and departmental PandLs. Monitor KPIs, highlighting trends, analysing variances and providing recommendations for improvement. Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are fully reconciled on a monthly basis. Prepare and provide regular management reporting and financial analysis. Work closely with budget holders and key stakeholders to understand business performance and financial results. Support the production of annual budgets and forecasts, providing relevant financial analysis and insight. Provide insightful analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making. Assist with year-end processes, audit requirements and other ad hoc financial projects as required. Person Specification: Part-Qualified CIMA or ACCA, AAT Qualified, or newly qualified in a relevant accounting qualification. Previous experience within a management accounting environment.
