Management AccountantManagement Accountant will be joining a well-established organisation on a hybrid basis, with one day per week based on the Isle of Wight. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on finance professional who enjoys working with large volumes of financial data and taking ownership of their workload. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate monthly management accounts, supporting budget holders with financial information, and contributing to the organisation''s budgeting, forecasting, and year-end processes. You will also act as a key contact during the external audit and help ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant.What you will be doingProduce timely and accurate monthly management accounts.Analyse month-end income and expenditure, identifying and explaining financial variances.Support budget holders by investigating and resolving financial queries.Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.Manage and reconcile restricted funds, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including financial analysis and reporting.Assist with the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process.Skills and experiencePrevious experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role.Strong management accounting and financial ..... full job details .....
