Management Accountant

The role of Management Accountant involves overseeing financial reporting and analysis within the industrial sector. This is a challenging role working closely with group, overseeing monthly management accounts, the full P+L and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also be partnering with commercial teams around the business.Client DetailsWell-established organisation with a strong presence in the UK.DescriptionManagement Accountant responsibilities include:Ownership of the month-end close process, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset accountingProduction of monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentaryPreparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with operational stakeholdersBusiness partnering with site and operational management to provide financial support and insightPreparation and submission of quarterly VAT returnsSupporting external audit processes and liaising with Group financeEnsuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and proceduresProfileManagement Accountant requirements include:A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW)Proven experience in management accounting, ideally within an SME environmentThe ability to work proactively and on your own initiative, identifying opportunities to add valueThe resilience and organisation skills to thrive in a busy role with tight deadlinesThis role is based 3 days per week in the office near Sittingbourne in Kent and 2 ..... full job details .....
