Management Accountant

The role of Management Accountant in Newark is key to supporting the accounting and finance function.

You''ll be handling the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and helping the business stay on top of its financial goals.

This is a office based role in Newark (five days on site).

The role will include Management Accounts preparation and Business Partnering with an opportunity for growth and progression.

Description

• Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
• Reconcile balance sheets and manage financial controls.
• Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist with cash flow management and cost control measures.
• Collaborate with different departments to provide financial guidance and support.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Part-qualified status in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or be Newly Qualified.
• Able to commute to our client''s office in Newark.
• Strong technical accounting skills and an analytical mindset.
• Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Confidence in working with financial systems and Excel.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from -45,000 to -50,000, dependent on the level of experience / qualification.
• Permanent position in Newark with progression opportunities.
