Description

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide detailed financial reports to support business decisions.
• Oversee cost analysis and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to monitor financial performance.
• Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Implement and improve financial controls and procedures.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A relevant accounting qualification or working towards one (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
• Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with the industrial or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

• A salary of -45,000 - -50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position based in Derby.
