Management Accountant

We are seeking a commercially minded, qualified Management Accountant on an interim basis to support the finance function of a fast-paced media business. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and providing financial reporting and analysis across media operations. Offering a competitive day rate and a hybrid working pattern based in Central London, this role requires an immediate start.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly management accounts and board reportingDeliver budgeting, forecasting and variance analysisPrepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions.Maintain and reconcile general ledger accountsPerform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesSupport month-end and year-end close processesPartner with sales, content and commercial teamsEnsure compliance with accounting standards and internal controlsSupport month-end, audits and financial controlsProvide meaningful financial insight and support strategic decision makingAssist with audits and statutory reporting requirementsRequirementsACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified (preferred)Strong management accounting and business partnering experienceAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilityExperience within media, publishing, digital, marketing or creative sectors (preferred)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
