As the ideal candidate you will have experience of working closely with a Financial Controller and be capable of producing management accounts, reports and coordinating business controls in a production or technical organisation. Outside of the reporting cycle you will be playing a key business partnering role , developing cost centres and working on business and process improvement projects. As a Management Accountant your role will involve: Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation of the monthly Management accounts. Monitor accruals/prepayments Intrastat sales and purchases Carry out random checks on completion of sales dispatch notes Carry out random stock counts Supplier rebates Year end reporting liaise with auditors/tax Analyse overheads Various month end group reporting Agree inter-company balances Balance sheet reconciliations Ensure stocktake procedures followed VAT ONS returns P11D reports Barclaycard analysis Monitor Duty/VAT on imports Create and update chart of accounts to reflect management activities. ..... full job details .....
