Management Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounts professional to oversee the accounts for two subsidiaries within the group.Working in a close-knit finance team and reporting into the head of finance, this is an opportunity that allows the chosen candidate to have autonomy over the accounting function, collaborating with senior management and driving financial performance. This is an ideal role for a management accountant looking for a role that will utilise their skills within an ever-evolving manufacturing business.Duties include:Working closely with the head of finance and producing the management accounts for two businesses within the groupResponsible for the monthly VAT returnsPrepare monthly variance analysisOversee the transactional finance duties, ledger maintenance and cash postingsPreparing and posting monthly journals for smooth month-end closeMonthly balance sheet reconciliationsAnalyse financial data, produce month-end reportsAssist with annual auditPayroll experience - assisting when payroller is on leavePerson specification:Qualified by experience / AAT qualifiedProven experience of producing management accountsStrong diligence / attention to detailAbility to work unsupervised with autonomyGood finance analysis skillsIdeally working knowledge of SAP and XeroThis is an interesting and exciting opportunity ..... full job details .....
