This role is reporting to the Head of Finance and supervising a team of 5 (AR/AP). The role will suit someone who is looking to gain exposure, be offered the opportunity to develop professionally and personally.This is a fast paced environment which can be pressured at times so therefore we need someone who is highly organised, has an excellent work ethic, self sufficient and the willingness and drive to learn and grow. You will be solutions focussed and someone who can comfortably work off their own initiative.Responsibilities will include:Manage daily financial operations, overseeing AP and AR functionsHolding monthly ledger review meetingsLead month-end and year-end close processesPreparing and posting of standard monthly journals and recurring journals for prepayments and accruals Support Financial Accountant in cashflow forecastingStandard costs/ sales and margin analysisCustomer analysis and profitabilityMaintenance of reporting ensuring validity/accuracy with IT Assistance in creation of MI Pack and Board packFacilitate and assist Production and IT with Standards updateAssisting with audit queries Bank Payment authorisationsManagement of team of 3 direct reports, 2 indirect reportsBi-weekly, Monthly ..... full job details .....
