Management Accountant

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnering with a business in Blyth on the appointment of a Management Accountant. This is a highly visible role where you''ll lead the financial reporting for a dedicated business entity, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller and acting as the key finance contact for the division.

Key Responsibilities

• To manage the month end accounts production & reporting cycle of company including the preparation and posting of monthly journals, including prepayments and accruals.
• Preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Preparation of monthly Flash reports and weekly KPIs ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Management of accounts payable including sign-off of proposed payment runs
• Management of accounts receivable including identifying any risk receivables
• Perform quarterly VAT reporting and audit deliverables, liaising closely with external advisors

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA) or studying towards qualification
• Relevant management accounting experience within a similar environment
• Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail
• Organised, deadline-driven and confident working with internal stakeholders
